Is H1N1 a Covered Medical Expense?

I think it’s time for claims to weigh-in on H1N1. Our department is getting questions about whether or not H1N1 is a covered medical expense because it's a Pandemic. The answer can vary based on the healthcare plan a member has but at Seven Corners all of our policy language would treat H1N1 just like any other medical condition and it would be covered the same as other medical services are in each specific policy. We are NOT excluding benefits payable to this specific illness. In terms of the preventative vaccine, we are not making special vaccination benefits available but if a policy covers vaccinations or preventive care, the H1N1 vaccine would be treated as any other vaccine coverage. Hope that alleviates the concerns we are hearing about the coverage.

It could be, if the related treatment is eligible under the other conditions and specifics of the policy. Generally, there is no coverage for immunization.

It is a very interesting position and I support the opinion of the author. H1N1 caused panic and fear on the international level. I consider that inappropriate preventative vaccination is the main reason for this atmosphere. This theme is a part of many !!!custom writing service!!! articles.

Thanks, the information is really interesting. Studying at the college I had to write an essay on the topic of H1N1 vaccination but could not find information and had to turn to custom writing services. Unfortunately, I did not come through your post. Maybe, would have written the paper myself.
