Prior to departure for your trip (business or pleasure) make sure you research the country cultural difference such as legally allowable actions, and understand what kind of embassy support you can receive if you find yourself in trouble.
As an example, did you know:
- It is illegal to photograph bridges, government buildings and TV stations in Israel, Egypt, Lebanon and Spain?
- Arabic countries have many cultural differences and unique legal
- In India it is prohibited to eat beef.
- The embassy will not bail you out of jail if incarcerating while overseas.
- The embassy will not provide legal representation.
- The embassy will not advance you money.
